Could Abdominal Burning Be Due To Mucinex Liquid?

Hi, can mucinex liquid make your stomach burn..I took it and vomited and since I had my gallbladder out a year ago pooed at the same time.. It was horrible..I threw up the medicine and vomited twice after.. Anyway for about 12 hours my stomach burned like crazy.. I m still not all the way better.. Could it be the mucinex that did that
