Could Anal Discharge Of Stinky Mucus Be The Symptom Of Haemorrhoid?

I think I have symptoms of hemorrhoids for the past 3 days now. There's a little swell near my anal opening, but wasnt any pain in my anal area except for the 1st day, and the pain wasnt really intense, it was just annoying and a little itchy. For the days that followed however, the pain and itchyness totally disappeared. I was just preoccupied by the little stinky mucus (I couldnt tell if it's blood or feces) that were leaking onto my underwear. Do you think I should consult a doctor or do you think this isnt a big deal? Any advice?
