Could Arm And Leg Redness With Circular Rings Be Ringworm?

Sir,

I am having what i believe is a condition of ringworm.there is redness and a very distinct circular rings that appear on my right arm and also on the lower half of my leg.I have not consulted the physician yet but since i know that ringworm is more common in this rainy season, i have no doubts whatsoever that it is indeed a ringworm infection.I have been advised that applying ointment will help heal the infection.Is betnovate-N(ointment) a good option or will u suggest something else?
