Could Back Pain And Numbness In Leg Be Related To Kidney?

My partner has had back pain for over a year and some loss of feeling in his left leg some how ( can t remember how lots going on ) it s been related back to his kidney he has just had a mri where the one kidney is showing very dark in the words of the radiologist
