Could Bacterial Infection In Vagina Be Due To Unprotected Sex?

my husband cheated on me and did not use a condom. I was tested for std s and am waiting on results. the dr said i for sure have a vaginal bacterial infection. is this something that he could have gave me as a result of all of the unprotected sex he had?
