Could Biting The Tongue While Sleeping Be A Symptom Of Seizure?

I have a history of seizures and have kept it under control with medication I am in the hospital for an eeg and long term monitor I feel like I am biting my toung in my sleep and thought that I been having them in my sleep but the dr. said no seizure what would make me bite myself without a seizure
