Could Blood Clots And Spotting During 7th Week Of Pregnancy Be A Miscarriage?

I am about 7 weeks pregnant and i was hanging out washing when i had a feeling like i need to do a poo. i went to the toilet and the was a small dob of red blood about the size of my thumbnail not much at all. I went to emergency and had no other red blood dr did a scan and could see a sac but nothing else. Said i may not be as far along as what we thought? I have had no more red blood just some brownish discharge here and there and a bloated feeling nothing else. My first pregnancy was a m/c at 8 weeks but then my last pregnancy was normal. Do you think this is a sign of a m/c when i had the first m/c i had a bleed one afternoon and the next morning a full on m/c. What do you think ?
