Could Blood In Ears Of A Child Be A Matter Of Concern?

My 4 year old got a hold of one of my q tips and stuck it in her ear when I I was filling the bath. She let out a very loud scream and then began sobbing. A little blood came out of her ear. She has now calmed down, 5 minutes later. Should I take her to the ER or can I wait until the morning to get her an appointment?
