Could Blood Red Spot In Eye Be Due To Subconjunctival Haemorrhage?

I woke up with my eye having a bloody red streaked spot in my right eye. I think from web md it says I could have a Subconjunctival Hemorrhage (Bleeding in Eye)? Do I need to go see my primary care doctor or my ophthalmologist? Or should I just see if it goes away in a week?
