Could Brown Discharge With Tinge Of Red Mean Onset Of Periods?

hello, im 14 years old and i havent started my period. i have noticed when i use the bathroom( urination) when i whipe, ont he toilet paper only is a brown discharge. sometimes it has more of a reddish look to it, more like blood. i have researched about this and people say its my period. is this true?
