Could Brown Stingy Mucus Discharge Be Due To The Removal Of IUD?

I have had brown, stringy, mucus like discharge and pelvic pain the last week. I got my IUD removed about two months ago and had my first period since 2011 3 weeks ago. I had unprotected sex With my partner at the end of my period... does it sound like pregnancy or caused by IUD removal.
