Could Bump On Penis Indicate Herpes?

A sex partner 5 months ago said she contracted herpes from me. I remember having a bump on my pubic area but when i popped it, it didnt resemble anything like herpes, thick yellow puss(not clear or drippy) i havent gotten sick and no fever as i know of. I got a CBC check and everything was normal, but i dont know i need some reassurance
