Could Calcified Nodule On Thyroid Gland Be Malignant?

Upon having an US 12/2/14 on my multinodular thyroid I have 3 large solid nodules and a 1cm calcified nodule. I had another US 1/22/15 done because I noticed the nodule on the front of my throat had been getting larger. Turns out the calcified nodule has grown double the size in the short time between US. I am scheduled for a FNA on 2/13/14 on all four of the nodules mentioned above. My question would be that since the calcified nodule has grown twice in size would it lean towards a malignant biopsy? I am thinking I'll require surgery, so how soon should I expect that to be scheduled?
