Could Coldness In Ears And Back Of Head Be Due To An Infection?

Hi i am experiencing coldness in my ears and back of my head. Occasional throbbing as well. Could it be an infection? I had wisdom tooth removal under general anesthesia but dentist say it might not be related to surgery. Also my ears feel clog or pressure and i cant sleep flat since days only with my head up so i dont feel as much pressure. Thank you for any response
