Could Constipation And Black Stools Be Normal In A Person With Stomach Ulcers?

Hi I have had stomach pains since last week! I was unable to use the bathroom for two days so I took milk of magnesia and it has turned my stool dark almost like a black color! Is that normal especially with me having stomach ulcers! Which was diagnosed over 2 years ago
