Could Delayed Periods Along With Pain In Lower Abdomen Be Due To Ovarian Cysts?

hi i m 34 single not having my periods for 3 months when i went to a doc she diagnosed me a cyst in my ovaries n gimme a medicine neodipar(250 mg) for three time a day i m using it for 2 months but still wont get my periods but having pain in lower abdomen, is it the side effect of this medicine or the symptom of getting my period soon??
