Could Delayed Periods And Bloating Be Due To Cyst In The Ovary?

I am 2 weeks late getting my period, am so bloated I look 4 months pregnant and have a lot of pain my stomach (it's a dull ache and sometimes burns). I went to the ER and they did an ultrasound and the Dr. said I have a one inch cyst in my right ovary, but that it's probably normal and that the other symptoms (also fatigue, breast tenderness, nauseau) are unrelated and probably just a delayed period and unrelated to the cyst. I am so distended I can't wear any of my pants and the pain is interfering with my daily activities. What could this be? I've also taken 5 pg. tests and they are all negative, I've never once been late and am 30 years old.
