Could Delayed Periods Be Due To Duphaston?

Hi, I had to get mu periods anyyime between 25feb to 28th feb. Doctor had precribed dhupahston for 10 days before my periods but i started taking med 5 days late and till today i am taking the medicine. Shall i stop taking it because i am well in my days of periods whivh have not started as yet, though i every now and then i can see a very little spotting or thread like structures on my panties whivh are either red or brown in color. Shall i stop taking dhuphaston and wait to see if i am pregnant or my periods Will start
