Could Delayed Periods Be Due To Norethisterone?

Hello, I wanted to ask. We with husband are trying to conceive but in may are going for holiday so gp prescribed norethisterone to delay period. It would be too early to do pregnancy test before starting taking it. would it be harmful if later i would discover that was pregnant? or better not to try for a baby for that cycle?
