Could Delayed Periods Be Due To Fibroids On Ovary?

I bleed for a month, my OBGY prescribed me estrogen and told me after ten days of being on the pill it will bring on the first day of my menstrual. That was in October. I spotted one day on the twenty third of January. I also have three very small fibroids. I ve taken for pregnancy test and all were negative.
