Could Diarrhea And Abdominal Cramping Indicate Sign Of Celiac Or Crohn S?

My 9 year old Grandson has had diarreah and cramping pain in his stomach - he has had an upper GI with small bowel follow through that indicated fold thickening in the terminal ilium. He is scheduled for an EGD and colonoscopy on April 3? I have been told this could be an indicator of Chrones or Celiac? What do you think?
