Could Difficulty In Walking Be Due To Osteoarthritis In Knee?

I am 54 and overweight. Have been diagnosed with osteoarthritis in both knees and had arthroscopy of the right knee in 2008. I also suffer from sciatica. I am finding it difficult to get up from a seated position as I have pain and it is hard to get my legs going. Is this coming from a back problem or knee problem?
