Could Dipping Snuff Be The Cause For Weight Gain And Heart Burn?

i have been dipping snuff for a while now. recently have a gained weight and I have pretty much non stop heart burn. I am not attributing the weight gain to dipping just wondering if the weight gain could cause the heart burn or if dipping for as long as I have is doing it.
