Could Dizzy Spells Along With Pain In Joints And Headaches Be Due To Prednisone?

I have been on Prednisone for two months due to Sudden Sensinaural Hearing Loss. The first 30 days I took 60 MG, the 3 days of 40MG and 3 days of 20 MG. Then i was off them for 4 days for a hearing test. Hearing improved so it was recommended that i start back up on the 60 MG per day. I took this amount for 18 more days, then 3 days of 40 MG and 3 days of 20 MG to ween off of them. I was tlold there could be some bad side effects. It has been a week and seems to be getting worse. I have had the usual dizziness, breathing issues, joint pain, headaches, jitters (especially around lunch which is when i took the steroids each day. Today i have a new issue and i don t know what to do. It hurts to breath on my right side around the kidney. I read that the adrenal gland which is afected by the Prednisone is near the kidney and was wondering if that could be the cause. This is the worst of the pain and I m not sure what to do . Some stuff i ve read says to take the Prednisone every other day to stimulate the adrenal gland. A lot of what I ve read mention slow (5 mg or less) doses of Prednisone but all i have are 20mg tablets. I m debating going to the emergency room because i don t know if it will get worse , like it has today. Please help.
