Could Dried Blood And Mild Pain In Ear Be A Matter Of Concern?

after cleaning my sons ear with a q tip, he said it went to far in and it hurt....a little while later I noticed a small amount of blood but he said it did not hurt and he could still hear fine. Today, two days later, I noticed more dried blood in his ear and he said it hurt a little. Will he be ok or should I take him to the dr.?
