Could Eating Contaminated Eggs Be Life Threatening?

Hello! I have a cold right now so my ability to taste or smell food has temporarily been paused, so i was cooking some eggs and right after I had eaten them I was cleaning the mess I made and noticed black lumpy spots in the interior of the egg sell which I could move with my finger, there was black lumps on the exterior of the shell however these were very firm and stiff and did not have the same consistency of the ones in the inside, I don t know what this could be however I have read it might be contaminated and this could potentially kill me? Help please, what should I do? Thank you dc.
