Could Elevated Heart Rate Be Due To Amlodipine Besylate?

I have always had a pulse rate of 65-75. For @ 5 years I have taken propanalol 80 mg every 12 hours for blood pressure control. In Dec/14, I had a reaction to a statin drug and started taking an additional BP med, amlodipine besylate 5 mg once a day. Over the past 2 weeks, Imy pulse rate is running 100-130, no change in diet or lifestyle. Any ideas?
