Could Elevation In Blood Pressure Levels And Anxiety Be Due To Stress?

Hello, I have been monitoring my blood pressure quite a bit since Thursday day to a HIGH stress situation. I am currently on quite a big of high blood pressure meds and a lacex med. My blood pressure has not been below 137/101. normally with my meds it runs 130-35/75-87, roughly. I have been staying very inactive, even warm baths, extra anti anxiety med. What should I be doing to lower this?
