Could Elevation In Liver Enzyme Levels Be Due To Xanax?

I recently had BW done and my AST level was 47. In the past yrs I have been consisntent at 22. My Dr. recenlty increased my Xanax from .25 to .5 mgs. I am trying to r/o if this could have raised my level. I usually do have 1-2 beers nightly and was most recenlty on vacation and had several drinks. My BW was down soon after my vacation. I guess I am vs increased Xanax or vacation drinking?
