Could Expired Implant Cause False HPT?

I have an expired implonon implant still in my arm and I have no birth control prescribed. I have been having symptoms of pregnancy and so I took a test it came out positive but didn t show up as positive until the next day and every test I have taken since then (about 4) have said I am not so my question is could I be getting false negotives due to having the expired implant still inserted
