Could Extreme Anger And Mood Swings Indicate Sign Of Menopause Psychosis?

My sister is having heavier periods but always been very moody, easy to anger over little things. Now she is 55 and the entire family is wrong according to her about everthing, she knows it all, we are concerned that she is more rapidly irritable unreasonable and extremely cruel with her mouth and loved ones, daily she gets worse, she is totally off topic in rants of anger non stop, could she be having a menopause phsychosis? Non of us can reason with her she is just raging insane making no sense and we are all wrong she knows it all lashing out at us, very disturbing!
