Could Fainting Be Due To Elevated BP Or Sugar Levels?

My mother felt light headed, back pain, nausea, and her legs gave out on her. It took about 15 minutes to get better. We checked her blood pressure and sugar level, both were high. BP 175/90 and sugar level was 220. She had a heart by pass about 8 yrs ago. And about two years ago she was diagnosed with two leaky heart valves. What caused her to feel faint?
