Could Fatigue And Breathlessness Be Due To Anaemia?

My sister has iron deficiency anemia and has just experienced a breathing spell. She couldnt breathe and fell to the ground. I talked her out of it and laid her down on the bed. She was walking at the time of the occurance. She hasnt had her iron in a long time. What should I do?
