Could Fluid Retention In Body Be Due To Inadequate Secretion Of Aldosterone?

I have always retained fluid even as a young person. I have been on spironolactone 25mg for yearsx2. I have recently been given atenol.chlor 50-25mg. once a day. The atenol is for a right bundle blockage. I retain fluid if I take any Advil and eat any foods with any hint of an added substance. It is impossible to eat out and eating at home is hard. If my body does not produce enough aldosterone, what can I do?
