Could Frequent Urination, Breathlessness And Cravings For Sugar Indicate Diabetes?

I am a 47 year old male i am pretty good shape. but have occasional shortness of breath and i wake up every night with severe cravings for sugar.i have noticed more frequent need to urinate.could this be diabetic symptoms? And is there a way to check at home?
