Could Hard Lump On Lower Back Post A Fall Indicate Hematoma?

i fell skiing and hurt my lower back. had xrays taken no breaks. a few weeks after the incident a hard lump formed on the right side of my lower back. its been there for three weeks now. is this a hematoma? do i need to go see a doctor? do i need to have it removed? do i need physical therapy? i dont have pain in my back anymore unless i sit fpr extended periods of time and am completely mobile.
