Could Heavy Menstruation Along With Pain In Joints Be Due To Nexplanon?

Hello. I have been on Nexplanon for about a year and a half. The first year went very smoothly with basically no side effects besides loss of menstruation. Within the last few months my bleeding has been erratic, bleeding basically every 2 weeks, and my main concern has been joint pain. My knees hurt a lot to the point I cannot run anymore and must seriously limit dancing. Other joints are beginning to hurt too. I am waiting to get scheduled to see a doctor. In the meantime, any suggestions or explanation?
