Could Hot Flashes Along With Nausea Be Due To Hormonal Changes?

I am 45 and started suffering with hot flashes over the past 4 months. They come all day long and sometimes are accompanied with nausea. I had my annual check up with my gyno and everything was normal. Should I be following up to see if something is going on or can I be confident this is part of female changes?
