Could Imbalance Of Body Along With Tremors In Hands And Legs Be Due To Gabapentin?

I am taking Gabapentin as of 1-5-15. I have started have tremors in my hands & legs very badly. This is the only new med I have had in a while. The neuroglist I go to changed me from Kepra & topiramate, that I had been on for 14years doing fine. I started passing in April or May 2013 after I had to have my eardrum taken from having a bad ear infection. I don't my meds I was taking caused the passing out. I feel it has something to do with having to have my ear closed up after the surgery. I know my balance has been off since the surgery in June of 2012. Do you think the Gabapentin could cause the above problems.
