Could Infertility Be Due To Adenomyosis?

Hi, i have been recently diagnosed with adenomyosis through an ultrasound, I am 41 and have been trying to conceive for about 3 months now. I had a miscarriage last year at 12 weeks and am wondering now if adenomyosis was the cause of it. I have not had any symptoms, such as heavy bleeding, irregular periods....I am confused as to whether or not I even have the disease as my periods seem as normal as when I was 21. I am wondering if this disease causes infertility or if you can get pregnant is there a higher risk of miscarriage?
