Could Inflammation In Breasts Along With Sore Nipples Be Due To Citalopram?

I have been on citalipram for about five years now and my insurance changed recently so my prescription also changed I believe. The pills don t look the same as before. I have never experienced this before but my nipples got so hard and so painful that I thought I would have to go to ER. I can tolerate a lot of pain and this was a ten. I am 51 years old and still menstruating and I do get sore breasts. The nipples only were burning and felt like they were on fire. The pain subsided in about five minutes. Could this be a side effect of the medication? I am on nothing else, not even over counter drugs, don t like to take any kind of drugs. Thank you.
