Could Insertion Of Second IUD Cause Bad Break Out Of Acne?

I have had my second mirena IUD put in after 5 years. with the first on I experienced ace as a side effect, it lasted about 18 months and i tried everything to clear it up, eventually it kind of cleared up it's self. I have had this new IUD in just over a week and already I am experiencing bad break outs, is this normal to have to go through these side effects again?
I had the original IUD inserted because on contraceptive pill seemed to work (my body just kept have periods when ever it felt like it instead of with the cycle of the pill) i also had bad cramps. the IUD was a last resort and seemed to work fine apart form the acne, i don't want to have to go through 18 months of that again, do you think it would be a good idea to start trying different pills again seen as it has been 5 year?
