Could Irregular Menstruation Along With Stress Be Symptoms Of Perimenopause?

Sure, thanks. I am going to be 46, have missed 9 periods in the last 12 months. Wondering if this may be start of perimenopause. I have also been very scatter brained, stressed and have a very sore throat on my right side only, irritation with swallowing...all on the right hand side of my throat. Should I be concerned, or probably just a virus?
