Could Irregular Periods Be Due To Low Progesterone?

dear doctors,

i started having irregular menstruation since 2006 uptil now. so i had hormone test n my progesterone level is said to be low, my doctor said i dont ovulate that i have an ovarian cyst, then he gave me clomid but it didnt work instead it increased my cyst so i had to operate and remove it last month. i am really desperate to have a child now please advice me on what to do to ovulate and concieve and what is the best position for sexual intercourse to concieve. thanks. angel!
