Could Irritation In Throat And Stuffed Nose Be The Symptoms Of Sinus Infection?

I have these symptoms fairly often: irritated throat, feelings that my airway is irritated, and stuffed nose. Would like to know what it is. Most frequent thing diagnosed: possible sinus infection. How often can people get them, and is this the only possibility??
