Could Itching In Cornea Be Due To Avastin Injections?

For several years I get avastin injections every couple months. Sometimes the recovery is a few hours and somewhat uncomfortable. Sometimes I endure 30 - 50 hours of extreme discomfort as if my cornea is scratched. I don t touch or rub my eye. Could the process of the injection cause a scratch?
