Could Itching In Lacrimal Caruncle Be Due To Allergies?

my lacrimal caruncle has been itching on and off for three days now, it ll and be irritated on and off, i do have allergies but can this be the cause of allergies? i ll take some eyedrops that i got from walgreens but that s only temporary relief, what should i do?
