Could Itching In The Ear Be Due To Wax?

Please type your query here...my daughter has a bit off muck in her ear. last week she had a bit of blood in her ear, but she was'nt crying, so i didnt think it was her ear drum ( people had said she would be screaming if it was). she is now saying its itchy.
