Could Lactose Intolerance Be Related To Onset Of Acne?

i have had adult onset acne and it started at the same time as my lactose intolerance...right after spending 4 months in south america. could they have anything to do with eachtother and my trip and if so what is the way to really treat the problem and not just cover it up?
