Could Last Month’s Missed Birth Control Pill Be Causing My Period To Be About 3 Days Late This Month?

I’m contacting regards to my birth control and period. So last month I skipped a pill on accident but I took it the next day, so I took two pills. I did have some spotting in between during that month but my period came on time. This month I took all my pills regularly at the same time and did not miss any. I am now 2-3 days late on my period. I am sexually active and my bf does not finish inside me. Could my hormones be messed up from last month that would be making me period this month out of order, or is this a sign of pregnancy.
